Guacamole is a classic Mexican dip or spread made primarily with ripe avocados. It is known for its creamy texture, vibrant green color, and rich flavor. To prepare guacamole, ripe avocados are mashed and mixed with various ingredients to enhance its taste. Typical additions include diced tomatoes, finely chopped onions, minced garlic, fresh lime juice, chopped cilantro, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Some variations may incorporate jalapeño peppers or serrano chilies for an added kick of heat. Guacamole is best enjoyed fresh, as the avocado can oxidize and turn brown over time. It is commonly served as a dip with tortilla chips, as a topping for tacos, burritos, or quesadillas, or as a condiment alongside Mexican dishes. Its smooth and creamy texture combined with the bright flavors of the ingredients make guacamole a popular and versatile favorite.

Directions
1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
2. Mash the avocados with a fork until they reach your desired consistency.
